ReplayGain does not involve any DSP. It simply adds a tag or two
containing the track and album gain settings. So, from that perspective,
it is OK to add replaygain while ripping.

However, if you want to add Album Gain you need to post-process the
files after you have ripped them all. This is because to apply Album
Gain, metaflac must first read *all* files, calculate the Album Gain
figure, then write it to all files.
