Not knowing what I was doing, I bought an s3, downloaded EAC and FLAC. I ripped The Wall CD1, Sgt P's LH Club band, and FLACed them. All wound up in My Music but with various strange artifacts. Only 1 actually wound up with separate tracks, correctly named; one acquired the moniker "unknown title", another is a 234+MB lump containing all tracks.
I feel that I have great tools, but I'm holding them by the wrong end (my hammer carries a reminder "hold by wooden end"). In my dream world there is a guide on how to rip, flac and get names of things in at least one directory structure. I suspect I could suss out how to create shortcuts and put them in different directories according to some criteria - e.g. "oboe". I'm still old fashioned enough to play whole albums so I don't even mind the big lumps, but it would be nice to see the track title when it's playing (assuming it does display).
