Hey. I just orderd a new iMac. One of its (main) functions will be to rip 2000+ cds to be stored on a NAS (haven't decided which one yet).
Based on quite a bit of research, I have decided to use dbpoweramp as my ripper. Of course, it is not Mac compatible, so I will use Bootcamp to run the MAC as a PC. I plan to use Vista as my OS. I am not very tech savvy and thus was wondering if I have missed something? Will this set-up work? Also, I have heard bad things about Vista; will it be a problem for this app. and if so, what is the alternative?
