Hello and welcome to the Forum. I am sure somebody here might help with the issue of not finding your music files. Or better yet, call the support line or e-mail tech support as this is a "User's Forum" and not actually Tech Support. You might also use the "Search" function on the Forum to see if somebody else had a similar issue and received a reply solution. As for tagging files and organizing Classical and Opera, I would suggest this link, http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?beginnersGuideToClassical . While on the subject of suggestions, my advice would be to read the whole WIKI, but especially the Beginners Guide. Most of the answers to your questions will be covered in there. If you are just starting to rip CDs for the Squeezebox, I would highly recommend that you go lossless and possibly decide to go with the FLAC file format. Once ripped to FLAC, you can convert to just about any other file format one might need. Once a file is ripped to a lossy format, the original file is lost (other then the one on the CD) and the choice of available conversions is diminished (with all of them being less then the original ripped file). Welcome to the world of Network Music Servers and it has been my experience that Transporter/Squeezebox is the solution to my large CD library.
