I am pretty sure SS can't be configured to cope with this. I found out myself that Artists are stored in the SS Contributors tabel but each contributor has a role assigned to it. These are : Artist -> 1 Composer -> 2 Conductor -> 3 Band -> 4 Album artist -> 5 Track artist -> 6 WMA Artist are stored as Album artist by default. When browsing by artist I believe that Artist, Album Artist and Track Artist are combined into Artist. Hope this clearifies things a bit.
