What you can do is note the date (and the time, if you're a stickler) of the files before updating the tags, then use a program to 'touch' the files and put the old modification date back on them after you've finished. For backup purposes, just make sure you change the time by at least a second from the original. If you just put the old date back on, without regard to time, the chances are pretty slim that you'll get the exact time, and they'll show up in approximately the same place in your New Music list. There are some good free attribute changers for Windows that integrate into Windows Explorer. You just right-click a file or files and change the mod time. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=42494 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
