I've been ripping all my vinyl to WAV at 16 bits but 96kHz. Then, I add them to iTunes, add tags and convert them to Apple Lossless. Everything seems great. The files retain their 96kHz signature in iTunes even in Apple Lossless, and play fine there. BUT (the essence of my post here), when played back through Squeezecenter, they play SLOOOOOOOOWWWW, like the decoder isn't picking up on the 96kHz, and playing at 44.1kHz. Anybody out there that can lend a hand?
