First, do you have Slimserver set to show multi disc albums as a single album? Slimserver Settings/Behaviour.
If not, change this setting to "treat as a single album" and do a full clear and rescan. If you do have this option enabled, then you need to update your tags to add the Disc tag. Not familiar with Max or Mac ripping generally but in Windows I add a tag of Disc 1/2 and Disc 2/2.
