Calling all Mac users of MAX!

I've had no problems with FLAC encoding with Max (from CD) and decided
to convert some of my vinyl rips recorded at 24/96. Downsampling to
48KHz for SB3 use in Soundtrack Pro produced playable wav files, but
when MAX encodes these to FLAC there's nothing but static-type noise.

Any pointers to the problem much appreciated!

Thanks,
Bob
