I had a m4a issue as did another gent. But I was on windows and he was on Unix. I had to install a separate player (FAAD) and change the conf file to point to it. Mine never worked so if your worked for 5 years then stopped I have no idea if there would be some correlation.
Search on my name and youll find that post. Might want to post this issue on the general forum also. IN that post there were alos some other links from BDA to other posts where people were troubleshooting this issue.
