What you've been doing is merely changing the view of the columns in
mp3tag, not the actual tags. To add a new tag, highlight the files you
want to tag, press Alt+T (Or right-click and hit extended tags) and then
click the yellow star ("Add field...") Type ALBUMSORT in "Field" and
whatever you like in "Value".
HOWEVER!! Try it on a small section of your library first!! It'll
change how SC7 displays your list of albums everywhere, not just when
browsing Artist > Album. ie to all intents and purposes SC7 will now
only file an album according to what you set the ALBUMSORT tag to, not
the actual title of the album
