I can't help with the technical details, but I just want to verify that you are aware of the downside of embedding artwork in audio files of any sort. A separate cover.jpg takes up X KB, where X is the size of the JPG. Embedding the artwork in the file takes up X*Y*Z KB, where Y is the expansion factor due to base64 encoding (3-4 I think), and Z is the number of tracks per folder.
If you get the exact same functionality out of both methods, the separate cover.jpg is much more space-efficient. I'm not sure what sort of functionality you would get from embedded tags that you don't already have. -- CatBus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CatBus's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7461 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46759 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
