I came across a need to convert m4a files to FLAC recently. These were
exported EyeTV recordings of BBC Radio 3 Prom concert broadcasts.

My trusty Max app couldn't do it, but after searching for a bit I found
Switch:

The Swiss-Army-Knife of file converters, it seems; works a treat -
installs FLAC components on demand. FLAC to MP3 however is very slow,
but then Max handles this very well.

Hope this helps others needing to convert audio file formats.

Cheers,
Bob
