Unfortunately, guest artists on non-compilation albums aren't handled
well by SqueezeCenter. The settings to keep artists from invading the
Artists list apply only to compilation albums.

You basically have three, less than ideal, choices:

- Tag the guest artists, as you're doing now and do nothing else.

But then these albums will be recognized as compilations and some or
all the artists may not appear anywhere in the Artists list.

- Remove the guest artists from the tags. The albums won't be
recognized as compilations and the guest artists will be gone, so
won't appear in the Artists list.

But that means you lose the ability to search for the guest artist
and find the albums where they might appear on just some tracks. And
if that artist is already in your Artists list (because they have
their own full albums) then albums with their guest appearances will
  no longer be listed there.

- Tag the guest artists. To keep these albums from being recognized
as compilations add COMPILATION=0 tags to all the tracks. You should
also tag the main ALBUMARTIST for the album.

But then guest artists will appear in the Artist list.

I use approach #3 and just live with the cluttered artist list. If
your library is fairly large then most of the guest artists will likely
have their own albums anyway, so would appear under Artists regardless.
