Hey Nonreality, I'm sure you're aware of this so I'm just pointing it out for any newbies like myself: I actually did all my updates using my laptop but I used Remote Desktop to access my Windows Home Server as if I was sitting at it. That way I was able to have the handiness of using the laptop but with the speed as if I was sitting at the server.
