I have flac encoded my collection of around 500 45RPM 7" Vinyls I have sorted them intoa folder hierachy as such:
Music/Singles/Genre/Year/(Artist - Title)/ eg. Music/Singles/Punk/1978/P.I.L - The Public Image/ etc So for example the folder - Music/Singles/Punk/1977/The Clash - White Riot/ contains files: 'the clash - white riot.flac','the clash - 1977.flac','folder.jpg' I've realised i have made a major boob by tagging all of these singles in the ALBUM TAG section with an album name of 'Singles: 1977' as I now have 100 Albums called 'Singles: 1977' Has anyone any experience of a decent tagging method for 7" or 12" collections? Could you please outline how to do it?
