Hi Auronthas,
I've got an semi-automated method that works, but is time consuming for
the PC.

Here is my workflow

1) rip using itunes or wmp to m4a or wma, assuming one of them has the
correct metadata, otherwise,I rip straight from EAC or dbpoweramp. I
find db nicer to use than EAC and just as accurate.

2) Then use media monkey to batch convert to flac. The great thing
about MM is that it copes with APE, WMA and M4A whilst keep all the
unicode metadata, so all the Chinese or Japanese titles etc stay intact
Also the album covers get transfered too.

You might find you can rip straight from dbpoweramp or MM to FLAC. I
haven't tried it as my CDs are in storage and not easily accesible, I
spent months ripping my CDs to WMA/M4A so I was keen not to rip again.

Try dbpoweramp or Mediamonkey and let us know how you get on

Best Regards
fs
