I've used Nero WaveEditor for this (it comes bundled with some versions of Nero). However, I've not used it on a 2 Gbyte file...
I frequently (?) use it for splitting out 'hidden' tracks from CDs, ie where the track doesn't appear in the index, but is present and separated by a long period of silence. EAC will rip the final track OK but will include the silence + hidden track. Nero WaveEditor has an option to automatically split a WAV file - from memory, I think it's called Pause Detection.
