If you tag the album names with the same name, and each album is ripped to a different folder, you will see each album listed. You won't be able to tell them apart when browsing a list of albums, but you can see comments when you drill down into song info. If you tag the album names with extra info in the album title, eg. "Dark Side Of The Moon Remastered", then you will see this when browsing albums. However, adding extra stuff in album names is a bit messy - the extra names may be scrobbled, for example (although I think this information is removed if contained in parenthesis or square braces before scrobbling to Last.fm). Another thing to consider when making your choice is that the comment field is searchable in Advanced Search, so you could find all "Remastered" albums, for example, but comments are not searchable through standard searches (i.e. you can't search via the Player UI). I personally prefer to use comments, to keep album name lengths down for display, as I don't need to search for the extra info in comments that often. _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
