I've started re-ripping my CDs into flac (I currently have 2000 at mp3 320kbps) due to the fact that disks are now cheap enough to do so.
I am using EAC, and both my work laptop and home computer running in paranoid mode. My home computer will extract much faster, but will have more errors (most disk don't have errors, but some do, mainly due to scratches), whereas the drive in my laptop will usually read the same disks without error. So, obviously I should get a better drive for my home computer, but the question is which?
