I agree that re-ripping is the best option. However if you opt to transcode from the WMAs then don't transcode to MP3 if you are only going to use the resulting files on the iPhone.
You'd be better off transcoding to AAC instead, which the iPhone can play and will get you better sound quality than MP3 for a given file size. -- andynormancx Yes, it will. Yes, all of them.
