Score one for wishful thinking ;o) Wired/wireless doesn't make any difference in the quality of the sound. If your wireless is a problem then it will manifest itself as dropouts, stuttering, etc. and not by sounding slightly better/worse. The SB doesn't care whether the bits come over the air or through an ethernet cable.
