In Slim's perl Player directory are perl scripts for each player type. Looking at Transporter.pm, I see there's a maximum rate capability of 96000. In Client.pm, that is set to 48000. SoftSqueeze.pm looks like it uses Transporter.pm with some capability over-rides. I tried adding the rate capability into SoftSqueeze.pm, setting it to 48000 but that didn't work. I've tried a custom-convert.conf file using the convert.conf 'flc flc transcode *' directive, changing 'transcode' to 'softsqueeze'. I then hard wired the sox rate to 48000 (also tried 44100). Neither worked although stopping SoftSqueeze sox reported a broken pipe message to the console so I know my custom-convert.conf was being used. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. -- Mick Seymour ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mick Seymour's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21137 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59321 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
