I recently bought a ion usb turntable to record my vinyls to the laptop and into itunes. The turn table also has a line in so you can plug in a cassette player, CD player etc and record straight to the laptop.It is very easy to use and the results so far are very good.
In addition I hooked up my internet radio and recorded a few items this way, again results are very good. The usb turntable was one of the best buys I have ever made and it was under £50 new, and includes the software. You can set it to automatically to save the files in itunes or media player.
