Well, it seems I am stupid! I tried to use both ARTIST and ALBUMARTIST... ...and did not get the expected result...
Let me try to explain, why I did this and what I expected the result to be: I have some remix albums. That means, albums where one artist remixes songs by other artists. Of course, when I browse my music library by artist I want to find the tracks under both names. So, I thought I put the name of the artist who remixed the songs in ALBUMARTIST and the name of the original artist in ARTIST. Hence, ARTIST changes from track to track and is always different from ALBUMARTIST. The result is that the tracks only show up under ALBUMARTIST... unless I have another CD by ARTIST alone (no ALBUMARTIST set). Then everything would show up correctly. What would be the recommended way to tag remix albums?
