Hi, Just new to this forum for over a week now but have read some great posts and learning all the time from them...
Have purchased and about to receive SB3, Qnap TS-209 NAS and 2x1TB HDD, I have about 3,700 which include my vinyl that I copied into MP3 in my audio collection but not in a very good order, some have been tagged with artwork etc, I now want to tidy it all up and have been using Tag & rename, what is the best way to put in order into folders etc so that my SB can read properly... I was thinking of music folder then Artist - (Year)/Album with artwork tagged if I am able to get them.I have LP (Vinyl-MP3), 7" & 12" Singles (Vinyl-MP3) and Normal MP3 Albums (Artists & Compilations), do I put them all in the main music folder or keep them seperate.. I was thinking of something like this as an example ABC - (1982) The Lexicon Of Love Bad Company - (1974) Straight Shooter Then for the Comps VA - 101 Eastbound (2001) VA - Trevor Nelson's Soul Nation (2003) Do I then link them to my itunes folder, hope you understand what I'm after or Is there a better way to do it...
