Eric - Mick, Maybe I need to go back to the basics and require help on a step by step process to rip from DVD into a digital multi channel file format ( whatever format ) that can be played on SB2/SB3 digital output. If the FLAC format with more than two channels is not appropriate it is not clear to me at this point what other coding I should use for digital multichannel output. I assumed the direct conversion to FLAC with DVD Audio extractor would do the job, but this definitely does not work for me. On the other hand ripping to Stereo FLAC with the same tool does play on SB2/SB3 analog and digital output.
