I currently have only one Squeezebox (Boom), but that will likely change. I do have a stack of DJ mix CDs to rip, where gapless playback is essential.
So far, I have been ripping to one FLAC per song, and gapless playback has been flawless. But what is this that I hear about gapless playback not working when you synchronize multiple Squeezebozes? Would I be better off ripping to one FLAC per CD, with cue sheet? Would that solve the problem? It is not a problem for me *yet*, because I don't have a second Squeezebox. But I want to avoid needing to re-rip my CDs when I get a second machine. Should I change my rip procedure now? -Ron. -- rpieket ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rpieket's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31862 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65994 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
