Not sure this would cause your problem however worth looking into. This is probably the source of your problem, but also be sure to check for unwanted Ape tags as well. MP3tag defaults to showing the ID3v2, but for reasons I don't fathom SBS appears to give higher priority to ID3v1 and Ape over ID3v2. If you have multiple tag versions, keep only the ID3v2 and discard the rest. Of course, first make sure that the ID3v2 are populated with the info that you want. Then do a clear and rescan.
The above para assumes that you are working with MP3 files. If you are working with FLAC, then the tags should all be Vorbis comments, and there shouldn't be any ID3v-anything anywhere in the files. Delete them if you have them. The mp3tag page at wiki.slimdevices.com has a good explanation about how to display what types of tags you have and how to delete the ones you don't want. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=71307 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
