This is probably the source of your problem, but also be sure to check
for unwanted Ape tags as well. MP3tag defaults to showing the ID3v2, but
for reasons I don't fathom SBS appears to give higher priority to ID3v1
and Ape over ID3v2. If you have multiple tag versions, keep only the
ID3v2 and discard the rest. Of course, first make sure that the ID3v2
are populated with the info that you want. Then do a clear and rescan.

The above para assumes that you are working with MP3 files. If you are
working with FLAC, then the tags should all be Vorbis comments, and
there shouldn't be any ID3v-anything anywhere in the files. Delete them
if you have them.

The mp3tag page at wiki.slimdevices.com has a good explanation about
how to display what types of tags you have and how to delete the ones
you don't want.
