I'm noticing the same rebuffering issues with new iTunes purchases. Luckily, I only purchase from iTunes as a last resort, so I don't have much, but the files are showing 256 kbps CBR (converted to 705.6 kbps) which I think is the problem.
I'm also having trouble Lossless files (478 kbps) that I ripped in iTunes. Used to be able to play these no problem, but now they have serious rebuffer.
