Mostly I've been ripping to WMA lossless, because I wanted to maintain compatability of the library for those (rare) times when I want play files directly on my computer -- mainly when I'm working late at night and want the proximity of the computer speakers at low volume). Yes, I use Windows Media Player for that -- no snarkiness, please.
I'd prefer to be working with FLAC. I gather that there are now ways of supporting flac on WMP. Advice? Are there implications for tags?
