I was scanning over this post, and not reading it in details, and I was
about to post a question: do you use MusicBrainz? and as I type the
reply, I see you do.

There is a bug, I reported it back in very early 7.4 beta days, that
SqueezeBoxServer sometimes explodeds an album so that each track gets it
own ablum. So if you have albums with 10 or 11 tracks, you can see ten
times as many albums.

I thought that there was a fix, but I see that I still have exploded
albums on the few where I used MusicBrainz.
