Everyone, I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first Squeezebox (Squeezebox 3).
In the meantime, I've been re-ripping my CD collection to FLAC format using MediaMonkey. (Many had already been ripped to MP3 at one point in time for use on portable players.) I'm done with the jazz and pop and am now about to rip my sizeable classical music collection (about 200 CDs). In the past I've had a rough time getting clean, usable tags through MediaMonkey's automatic lookup. Album names are inconsistent in box sets, composers often aren't listed, or performers are listed instead... the list goes on. It gets very hard to find what you're looking for. I would appreciate hearing from anyone with experience ripping large classical music libraries -- how did you handle the tagging in a consistent way while still keeping the info "usable" (displayable) on a Squeezebox display? Thanks in advance. -- JHW ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JHW's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34222 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72662 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
