No, tags don't work like that.  If you have a "folder.jpg" and you embed the 
artwork into a tag, it becomes a tag and the filename is lost.

The scanner will scan files to create album, artist, track content in the 
database.  Then it looks for artwork for each album and stores a reference to a 
single artwork file in the album record.

There is no reference for artwork per song in the database.

I can't remember if it takes the first song on the album (first file scanned), 
or the last, but either way it is a bit random, and a pain if you change 
artwork and do a scan for new/changed files.
