I am running SBS 7.4.1 on a QNAP TS-439. I have a collection of 30,000+ mp3 files that are all tagged with mp3gain. Volume Adjustment for all SB players is set to "Smart Gain". I regularly find mp3 files that play back way too loud. When I check the file properties in SBS the file is missing the Volume Adjustment properties. When I check the file on disk using mp3gain, the ReplayGain APE tags are there. Sometimes there is no Volume Adjustment properties at all in SBS, sometimes only the Album info is there (when I need the Track info).
A full rescan did not fix the problem. It is as if the APE tags are not being read completely/correctly. Is anyone else seeing this? Is there a way for me to debug the scanner to see where/why it fails to pick up the APE tags? -- RichieB ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RichieB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11310 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73291 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
