i was wondering what suggestions anyone has for turning / converting some mostly small wav files into taggable flacs on a windows system via a gui?
these wavs are odd, in that they have odd bitrates/sample rates, most from 64kbps to 176 with a few at the normal 1411kbps rate. what i want to do, if possible, is have the flacs emulate the rates, b/c i don't see any benefit in going bigger from the source. is that possible with flac? also, i want the resulting filesizes to be smaller than the original wavs at the same ratio you would have in a normal wav to flac conversion. thx for the help! -- MrSinatra www.lion-radio.org using: sb2 & sbc (my home) / sbr (parent's home) - sbs 7.5b - win xp pro sp3 ie8 - p4(ht) 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - 1tb wd usb2 raid1 - d-link dir-655 - 35k mp3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=75425 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
