You're not on your own, gcurrie. I also struggle to think of an album
where the bonis tracks enhance the experience.

However, I have a few albums where I don't want to lose the tracks
completely (is that what you meant by "hit delete"?) but don't want to
hear them as part of the album.

Examples are few and far between, but Elvis Costello and David Bowie
albums usually come with single/B-side releases that are worth having.
I don't mind them in the mix when I'm in a "play all shuffled" mood.
But I don't want to listen to a whole album and then hear a clearly
sketchy demo version of one of the tracks.
