I slip back on topic .

I did my first ripps of my cd's in mp3 a non lossles format *Doh!* I
had to redo 1000 CD's again..

I did not care for cover art -doh!-

I did not realize that mixed tag formats could be a potential problem
later.
(It is not a problem if the tag content is the same) I though "the more
the merrier" saving the tag in a bunch of different forms would make it
more compatible with a lot of music applications *doh!* I later
discovered mp3tag and I could fix it if it where a problem. It seems
that some tag editors default to save tags in all kinds of formats

But i dodged some of them:

I never used iTunes or windows media player for ripping.

I chose FLAC as my lossles format when i realized what it was and have
not looked at another lossles format.
