Quick Actions are just single actions that are executed once, without being saved as part of an action group. So they're usually used for 'one-offs' - things you do just once and don't need to repeat. You access the feature through the left-hand Aa button. If you hover your mouse over the button it will say 'Actions (Quick)'.
