I am sure you will get many suggestions as to software and the "right" way to do things. The general advice I would give.....keep things simple and keep your tags clean and organized. Carefully consider what format you want your music in and how you want the music tagged. Stick to the plan.
I decided to rip all my cd's as mp3's. five years ago. If I had known hard drives were going to be so cheap I probably would have ripped my cd's in the flac format. I use exact audio copy to rip cd's. http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/ I use mp3 Tag to edit the tags. http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ I use Album Art Downloader to download album cover art. http://sourceforge.net/projects/album-art/ Everyone has "their" way of doing things. No one is "wrong". Choose what works for you. I don't think the Squeezebox will play any music with DRM. -- brucegrr ------------------------------------------------------------------------ brucegrr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3964 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79122 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list ripping@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
