I replaced my DVD drive in my PC a few weeks ago.

It seems to be ripping CDs ok, but EVERY time I rip a CD using EAC the
first track reports a couple of Timing Problems.

For example, the track status and error message box at the end of
ripping a CD reports that on
Track 1 there is a Timing Problem 0.00.00, Timing Problem 0.00.05,
Timing Problem 0.00.20.
Peak Level 96.5%
Accuratly Ripped (Confidence 21)
Copy Finished.

There is hardly ever any Timing problems with any track other than
track 1.

On playing back track 1 through my Transporter I can not hear any
problem at all. Track 1 plays perfectly. So just wondering what this
Timing Problem refers to?

Is it a problem with my new DVD drive? It certainly doese not appear
to affect the quality of the ripped FLAC file.
