A-ha - I'd forgotten about that... I have a paid-for copy... and now
I've found the Power Tools..

I'm sure you are right about the FLAC encoding.

The files that won't analyse won't "validate" in the Power Tool...
The "Identified (By Name Only) ones are old songs that will be in the
MIP database, whereas the "Unanalyzable" ones are recent releases...


I've run flactester over the whole library and it says that all my
files are valid flacs.

Maybe there is a flac version incompatability in MIP?

More investigation required!
