Using EAC, I don't need to automate these steps, because it doesn't fetch them (or pass on to FLAC encoder to store in tags).
With dBPoweramp ripper, I had to mess around for a while in various places (not particularly easy to discover), in order to configure it to only include tags I was interested in. i.e. I don't want lots of unnecessary tag data such as disc number, record label/publisher, copyright, etc. I think it wasn't storing id3 tags in the same format that I have configured the rest of my library in either. I use id3v2.4 UTF-8. Although I usually rip to FLAC and convert to mp3. _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
