Just a thought re the musicbrainz tags. Check Preferences/ Mappings for
the following entries:

Code:
--------------------
    VorbisComment,musicbrainz_albumid,mbrainz_album_id
  VorbisComment,musicbrainz_artistid,mbrainz_artist_id
  VorbisComment,musicbrainz_trackid,mbrainz_track_id
  MP4,MusicBrainz Track Id,mbrainz_track_id
  MP4,MusicBrainz Artist Id,mbrainz_artist_id
  MP4,MusicBrainz Album Id,mbrainz_album_id
  ID3,ufid:http://musicbrainz.org,mbrainz_track_id
  ID3,MusicBrainz Album ID,mbrainz_album_id
  ID3,MusicBrainz Artist ID,mbrainz_artist_id
  APEv2,musicbrainz_albumid,mbrainz_album_id
  APEv2,musicbrainz_artistid,mbrainz_artist_id
  APEv2,musicbrainz_trackid,mbrainz_track_id
--------------------

If they're not there, you can add them through the preferences dialog,
or you can quit puddletag, navigate to ~/.puddletag, edit the file
called mappings and paste in the abovementioned and save the file.

If these settings aren't in your mappings file please let me know as it
likely means we've omitted these in our distribution build.
