Try puddletag's masstagger functionality. You can select one or more tag sources from (musicbrainz, discogs, amazon & freedb) and have it autotag for you. It'll sequentially lookup and try to find a match for each album from each specified tag source and when it's done with the lookups it'll present you with its proposed changes. You can then reject any or all changes by tag(s), track(s) or album(s). You can even edit the suggested changes and copy edits across multiple tracks. When you're done, it'll write the tags you've accepted.
Hint: try to limit masstagging operations to around 15,000 tracks at a time - results will vary depending on how much RAM you've installed. -- audiomuze *'Linux finally gets a great audio tagger' (http://www.ubuntugeek.com/linux-finally-gets-a-great-audio-tagger.html): 'puddletag' (http://puddletag.sourceforge.net/)* ------------------------------------------------------------------------ audiomuze's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=33613 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88339 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
