OK. Look at it this way: An album that has not the same Artist set for
all songs will be considered a Various Artist album by SBS (since the
artists varies between the tracks) and will be put under that heading
in the artist list. If you want to have an actual artist show up in the
artist list for that album, put an Album Artist tag with the same value
in all songs for that album. Then only what you put in the Album Artist
tag show up in the artist list for that album (unless you use the SBS
setting to show all artists for an album).

So in your case you could tag that album this way:

For all songs in that album:
Album: 6 String Theory
Album Artist: Lee Ritenour
Year: 2010
Genre: Jazz

For the one song where John Scofield is a guest artist:
Artist: Lee Ritenour & John Scofield
[And the other values that are specific to that track]

For the other songs where Lee Ritenour is the only artist:
Artist: Lee Ritenour
[And the other values that are specific to the respective track]

In the artist list you will see Lee Ritenour, i.e. the Album Artist,
but not Lee Ritenour & John Scofield, i.e. the (track) Artist.

PS. I would not set Compliation=0 for flac files. At least some time
ago there was a bug that made the track artists on an album show up in
the artist list along with the Album Artist if you set Compliation=0
for flac files. It might be fixed by now, but just to be sure delete
the Compilation tag.
