Following the link to the full-size image did the trick, as you suggested Mnyb. My mistake was copying thumbnail-images.
Anyway, what size do you prefer for artwork? I remember reading somewhere that large artwork could be a problem for tiny squeezebox server. This shouldn´t be an issue now that I´m using a Vortexbox appliance, and I´m not worried about disk capacity.
