Yes, they will still be lossless. You shouldn't lose anything in the
process.

Correct.

I would test it first on _copies_ of your APE files and make sure it
works to your satisfaction and transfers all of the tagging correctly.
It should be fine, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.

One tool I couldn't live without: dbpoweramp has the ability to install
a Windows Explorer extension for viewing file tags when you mouseover
the file. It's the only piece of dbpoweramp that I actually use, but I
use it many times each day. Saves you the trouble of opening files in a
tag editor just to see what they contain.
