Maybe I'm misinterpreting the problem. But, for example, in 7.7.1, here's an example from my collection (FLAC ripped with dbpa):
Artist: 7 Walkers; Willie Nelson Title: King Cotton Blues Album: 7 Walkers Track: 03/13 Year: 2010 Genre: Rock/Pop album artist: 7 Walkers There is no compilation field. So Willie is a guest artist. If I look at Artists > Willie Nelson I see the 7 Walkers CD, but only the "King Cotton Blues" track listed (as I would expect). If I look at 7 Walkers, I see all the tracks (as I would expect).
