yes. If both tags are there, highlight the big red X in the menu bar
and given your settings, it will delete the id3v1 tags).  Test on a few
first, but once you're comfortable, you can load em all up, sort on the
tag column, then delete (red X) so that only id3v2.3 tags remain.
Easier if you add a column with the following value (right click on
column heading, create ne column, name it tag type and use the
following as value:

%_tag_read%[ (%_tag%)]
